Reiki Energy Healing
This gentle healing modality uses the universal life force energy to facilitate the body and mind in its journey towards transformation and health. You remain fully clothed during a Reiki session and experience waves of healing energy, both physical and emotional as you are opened up to the healing energy that surrounds us at all times.
As there is only limited physical contact between practitioner and client, Reiki is very suitable for conditions that prohibit physical contact. The healing encouraged by Reiki goes far beyond the physical level and can facilitate emotional and spiritual transformation for seeking to take the next step forward in their lives, professionally, emotionally or creatively.
Virtually all conditions can be treated with this gentle form of therapy. It is particularly indicted in cases of post-operative recovery and for conditions where other forms of therapy would be too invasive or tiring to the receiver. Thus for patients who are very fragile or bed-ridden, Reiki can be a way to provide a comforting and effective therapy to increase and enhance well-being.
There are no side effects to Reiki. Treatment is compatible with conventional bio-medicine and other forms of complementary therapy.
Additional health benefits of Reiki include:
· Profoundly relaxing to body and mind
· Strengthens the immune system
· Can be of help in achieving emotional insight and breakthroughs
· Shown to promote recovery from illness and surgery
· Helpful in the prevention and treatment of anxiety
Additional advantages:
- hands off, non-invasive therapy with no side effects
Chinese Deep Tissue Massage / Medical Massage
The roots of massage are found in ancient China with most well-known forms of modern massage being able to trace their origins there. Massage has been used in China since pre-historic times and the art as practiced today is highly developed, incorporating techniques traditionally associated with holistic and Swedish massage, together with complicated manipulations more akin to Chiropractic.
As practiced in the West, Chinese massage works on a deeper level than holistic or Swedish massage but does not include the heavier manipulations commonly used in China. You will experience a deeply healing massage which addresses the root cause of your condition.
Chinese Deep Tissue Massage can be of benefit in the treatment of:
Deep tissue injury
Insomnia
Digestive disorders
Sports injury
Back pain
Stored tension
‘Trapped nerve’
Chronic muscular pain
and many other conditions.
Treatments are available in Dublin, Arklow and Gorey or other locations by appointment. Call 086 408 2428 for details.
