Yoga room in a nutshell!The Yoga Room:I teach only ten students in a class, so that each student benefits from individual instruction. This number makes it easier for me as teachers to be aware of everyone in the class and their needs. For the student, this means practicing yoga in an environment where you practice at your own pace, feeling safe and knowing you are moving in the right direction. A Typical Yoga Class:A class lasts an hour and fifteen minutes. The class starts with meditation, where students are instructed to watch the breath and relax the body. Over time, as your yoga practice and body develops more advanced postures can be introduced into your practice. The class closes with deep relaxation (i.e. Yoga Sleep) About : The teachers:I went to my first yoga class over twenty years ago, and over that time have practiced with many high level yoga teachers, and meditation teachers. I teach Ashtanga yoga because that’s what I practice and have come to love. I know the benefit of yoga practice through experience, it keep the body strong, slim, flexible and feeling light, and also helps with releasing stress, we hold in the body, which has on effect on all the organs of the body.
